The Supco DAVM+ digital air flow meter combines a vane anemometer, thermometer, hygrometer, and light meter for measuring air velocity in m/s, fpm, knots, mph, and km/h, air flow volume in cfm and cmm; air temperature in degrees C and F; humidity in % RH; and light in lux or fc; and has data record and hold functions for analyzing air flow. Data record function records readings and displays maximum and minimum values, and hold function freezes a reading on the display to aid documentation. A thin-film capacitance humidity sensor responds promptly to changes in humidity and a thermistor sensor measures ambient air temperature. The meter has a Type K thermocouple input jack for attaching a separate temperature probe (sold separately) to increase the range of temperature measurement. The LCD shows air velocity, temperature, and humidity readings simultaneously. The meter turns off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life and has a low-battery indicator. This anemometer is used for monitoring indoor air quality and tracking air flow and temperature in ductwork, spray booths, and exhaust hoods, among other applications.
